 Good day and thank you for your message. I have suggested many times that Kevin needs a reading book where a teacher can help him with his grammar and pronunciation. I suggested that he speaks to you about one of his double lessons (the first one), we do a reading together so corrections can be made, Once, he is into the reading, then on the second lesson we do the IELTS questions. I f we do not do it this way, all Kevin will be doing is repeating his mistakes, which has been proved to no helping him progress at all. I have spoken to Kevin and yourself several times now and now time is starting to run out to get Kevin into a comfortable position to do the test / exam? Please consider my proposal as urgent for Kevins benefit. Thank you very much. Barnet

 Thank you for your message. I stand by my previous advice to you; However, I need to add that Kevin knows what to do and he has answered some questions very well. His biggest barrier is his nervousness / anxiety. This breaks down his confidence and I find that once he gets used to the lesson, then his skills and ability to answer questions improves a lot. This is why I am of the opinion that the first lesson of a double lesson should be a reading lesson only (this will definitely improve his confidence and relax him, then the second lesson we will work on the IELTS question bank. I have helped several students in this way with great success, as Kevin's situation is not uncommon. Thank you. Barnet
